I paid money for a vacation package from ASTR Atlanta Ga, and due to circumstances couldnt use it within the time alloted. I called and asked for an extension and was told it was $50USD. 10 days later, when I called to pay the money, I was told by Bob that the price went up.By $100.00, so the new price was $150USD.
Of course, after talking to Bob (who was obviously irritated with my barage of questions) and telling me that he couldnt do anything about it, I asked to speak to a supervisor. Christine came on the line, and didnt bother to find out what I had to say, just to say that the price is now $150USD and after talking to me (and letting me know that she had other people to speak to) she slammed the phone down.
Then I called back and spoke to Linda, who tried to convince me that I should pay the $150. I just didnt bother. After talking to these people I was convinced that I wasnt getting anywhere.
I have lost the money I spent on the package, and I know that there is little that can be done to get it back, or convince them that they should honor what they told me. (I was willing to pay the original price).
ASTR talks nice to you to get you interested (which is what happened to me) and make you feel that you are guaranteed 100% satisfaction, then, when it comes down to brass tacks, it's a different ball game. It's usually a game in their court.
I have no recourse, but to forfeit the package and the money I spent. However, I can tell ALL PEOPLE... DONT BE FOOLED BY ALL SEASONS TRAVEL AND RESORTS 'attractive, not-to-be-turned-down packages.
They dont offer satisfaction or any guarantees. I spoke with five sales reps - Bob, Linda, Laura, Arnold, Loretta and one supervisor -Christine, and they give different dates of the price increase. (which raised red flags for me. They didnt bother to answer my questions to any satisfaction, preferring instead to speak like well-taught robots. Eg.'Maam, I dont mean to be rude to you, but'... And 'well life's just like that" and Bob and Linda were telling me about 'the price of chickens at the grocery store' and 'the cost of inflation that justified a $100. Price increase"
I hope that no one would be fooled to purchase these packages. While I was on the phone with Linda, I was hearing in the background other sales reps soliciting buyers. How I wished I could have been on a loudspeaker to warn unsuspecting buyers.!!

By the way... I did tell Linda that I read your website and mentioned some of the comments to her... Let's just say, she wasnt pleased to hear that.
