I am completely irritated and dissapointed in French Quarter/Grand Regency Resorts in Branson, MO. We visited Branson in December and attended a nigh pressured presentation. After 2 1/2 hours of being there, they finally came in with a package of every other year, Week 29 and stated that it was perfect for us because it was in the summer as we stated that is what we had to have.

We split the down payment into 2 payments, with final payment in February. I contacted them to set the reservation in March, was notified we had to pay the maintenance fee prior to scheduling our week, I asked them to send us the information. Finally the 3 week in April we received a maintenance statement dated March 15th but postmarked April 15th. I paid the fee only to find out that not only our week but all weeks in June and July were taken and unavailable! As I stated when I bought the timeshare, all 3 of my kids are in school and 1 goes to his dad's in the summer for 4 to 6 weeks. With no weeks in June or July means no family vacation. They said the "week 29" was so that they did not overbook for the season, well if my week is 29 and no others are available, did they not overbook? This is the biggest rip off I have seen and I can't believe they would do this to families who believed them. I will be taking an add out for every Branson newspaper and flyer I can find to stay away from French Quarter Grand Regency Resort.
