I like many others I have now read about on here, got an email saying I had definately won a prize. And to call a free number. I am Norwegian and although I speak good english the person on the other end of the phone, talked so fast I didnt realise I was being conned and yes I foolishly gave them my card number as it was "necesary for immediate reservation of your wonderful 19day holiday"..
After the call I spoke to my Scottish boyfriend who said to check my account immediately and yes... 5700Nok (@$600) was gone. Ive tried calling them, no answers, nor on email. I didnt realise I had to pay the flights for each air ticket, they made it sound like I only paid the taxes on the hotel when i got there, also that i got a cruise thrown in free..
I now see that was a total con also as the ship is a retired liner not in use..
So now im trying to get my money back through my Norwegian visa card company but it doesnt look good.
Please pass on these warnings to as many people as you can. It is now in the Norwegian papers as more people here are targeted.
