High charges for collect calls

I received my AT&T bill and was shocked to find 57.59 charged for 2 collect calls from a family member for 12 minutes of conversation - also was charged 22.50 for 5 minutes when the call lasted less than 2 minutes - I think this is outrageous and when I talked to AT&T they said it was out of their contol - I am talking to Legacy LD INTL INC also - so BEWARE of both of these companies
