Earl Mohammad - Scam on precious metals: ships fractions of the order to delay fulfilling delivery

Unfortunate events do not occur often, but sadly, I was a victim of scam, false promises, and disrespect as a customer.

"Globalgoldxchange" (Earl Mohammed, the person in charge) seemed very promising with their high-rating score on their iOffer.com website, so I decided to purchase a small amount of precious metals from them.

The first order took 3 weeks to deliver, but they finally came. However, This was merely a bait to make us trust them and spend more. The seller might be a decent merchant for dealing small orders of gold & silver (Less than $5000). However, he is definitely NOT the right person to deal with big orders.

Later, I decide to make another larger order. The second purchase was for a thousand of 1oz of SILVER BARS. The seller took 5 weeks to finally ship, but he decides to ship in four different boxes for "insurance issues". I thought it was reasonable so I waited.

After waiting 5 weeks, I received only ONE of the 4 boxes. Seller claims that he can only upload ONE tracking number and apparently, the one box with the tracking number added to the iOffer website was the only one that arrived to my house. He claims the other 3 boxes had been lost, then collects insurance money, but I never received the rest of the items, and still no news about them today.

While I was waiting for the rest of the silver bars, the seller offered us to buy directly from them "offline" and also offered us with better prices. I thought that this was a good idea since he didn't have to pay for iOffer site's selling fee and I was getting a deal.

He offered us with better prices, so I made a third huge order. I didn't doubt the seller yet, but this time was when the problem began.

I was never able to get the rest of the SILVER BARS nor the third order even after 9 weeks. Seller gives empty promises that he will soon ship the items but he never does.

Communication was fine first, but as weeks passed by, it was harder to reach the seller. When he answers the phone, he would speak vaguely and repeat things. He also gave empty, fake tracking numbers for the orders and kept giving excuses to continue delaying the shipments.

He claims that his vault for the metals is located in Georgia, and that the vault manager ships the orders to Virginia (where Earl Mohammed is located), before being shipped to the buyer. Earl also claims that he has no control over the vault's activity, so he cannot confirm shipping processes.

Earl has a talent when speaking though the phone - his eloquent tone defines a fraud-artist. The seller tries his best to calm the buyer down for the late shipments, and attempts to postpone the discussion for a later time (which never happens). Most of the times, he simply ignores my calls.

I tried to contact the seller directly through the iOffer.com site many times for my silver bars, but they blocked my account from viewing their site. This clearly means that they want to avoid contacting me.

Their iOffer.com site seems suspicious as well. While I still haven't received the 3 missing boxes for my SILVER BARS, somehow I gave "5 STARS" to this purchase without my permission. Now I can't even claim for the SILVER BARS because I received the box with its tracking number added to the iOffer site, while the other 3 boxes went missing. This makes my order look as completed, when it really isn't.

It is not entirely about the money that I am upset about. It is his dishonest way of dealing with his customers and playing with their money. As many people know, precious metal prices fluctuate very frequently. This means that I lost money because the seller kept the money and failed to fulfill the orders while gold and silver prices went up. There is NO logical reason for the shipments to take more than 2 months to deliver.

I had waited over 9 weeks and I still haven't been fulfilled with the orders. I know many other clients might have suffered just like I did, but they probably didn't dare to question Earl (the seller) with his persuasive tone. I hope this will help other potential buyers from Globalgoldxchange deciding whether to trust them or not. If you do not want to wait for an eternity to receive your orders, think again.
