Youfit Health Clubs has completely ignored my notice of membership cancellation. They do this despite the fact that I followed the procedure designated by the contract, which was notification by certified or registered mail with a receipt requested. I believe this is a pattern of corporate behavior on their part to avoid, or at least delay, recognition of a membership cancellation notice. They will apparently do anything they can to prevent a membership cancellation.
I joined the club at 3111 Mahan Drive in Tallahasse, Fl, in December signing a month-to-month contract. A month later, on January 27, I sent a cancellation notice by certified mail. I received the signed delivery receipt on February 1. They ignored the notice, and simply continued to charge my bank account. It is obvious, based upon their behavior, that they plan to continue charging me, despite my effort to cancel.
This is an unscrupulous company that should not be trusted with any of your personal information. Never provide them your bank information. They cheat and steal, and believe each membership is for life!
