We bought a boat from this company 6 years ago (Jan'03). We declined the extended warrently until they told us we would get our money back if we did not have any claims againt the warranty. (Our warranty was with Pinnacle Protection Plan, and it cost $1040.)
Six years later, we called Crystal Pierz to see what we need to do to get our money back. They send us a check list of crazy things we needed to comply with, which we did - all within 30 days of the warranty expiring. We were to send the information to the company Crystal Pierz used to guarentee the refund, F&I Services out of Altanta, GA.
It turns out this company is no where to be found! They don't exist anymore. Our paperwork came back undeliverable.
Now, Crystal Pierz is not honoring their promise. They told us its our problem. They sent us a lame letter telling us the agreement was between us and F&I Services. What a copout!
It ticks me off to think of the money Crystal Pierz made from selling these extended warranties on the premise of a money back guarentee. I would love to find the hundreds of other customers from that season they are stiffing, and form a class action lawsuit against them for misrepresentation!
