I too have been burned by Jayco. I purchased a Jayco Talon ZX in 2005. Well before too long "things" started to go wrong. I took the trailer back to the dealer and the problem was taken care of. They ordered a new part and I was told that if this happened again they would put the new part in. Unfortunately for me, when it did happen again I was not in Michigan, but in Florida. The shower drain had come off and leaked into the basement. I am now stuck with the most offensive order and it makes my wife and I ill to say the least.
Last fall our Gas/electric refrigerator had an ammonia leak, this was less than three years old. The AM/FM Radio does not work except for static this too is obviously less than three years old. I put a call in to the dealer and was told to call Jayco. That was to no avail. I received absolutely no help whatsoever. They said there was nothing that could be done. I was going to purchase another Jayco, but I have decided that it would not be in my best interest to do so.
I would recommend that anyone who is thinking about getting a Jayco research first before you. Formaldehyde is half the problem. They do not seem to stand by their product.
