Im in Southern California and read about people in Texas that just got the curtains pulled on them also. I met Doug Sharp at a local California Event. Came off knowlegable and wanted to do some work. Found out the Hard way. Gave me a price appoximate to rebuild my Gazelle Motor and get a new carb. $800 he told me. Got the bill from his CON MEN partner Mike it was damn near $4000 for one motor. This is rediculous and he told me thats the way it was and if i wanted to race that my kid had scheduled for i would have to wire him the money. PERIOD! I did and never talked to that P.O. S again. Now reading this latest post about some other people accross the country his SCAM is working on. I wanted to speak out. DOUG SHARP AND MIKE BOTELHO are true SCUM BAGS as the other people stated. They need to be exposed for what they really are. CON MEN that should be in Jail!!! Hope this does not happen to anyone else.
