Just got off the phone with my son. He is not having a good time. We were told that he would have the opportunity to develop a quest game. The only program they have is FPS (first person shooter games) I just located the software on line the cost for the software is $49.99.
The food is horrible, today the highlight was a hotdog. Yesterday pizza. My son said he is finished with his game, it only the 2nd day! The activites planned outside are lame and boring. He has been sitting in his room in the evening. I would not recommend this camp to anyone. I feel they they totally misrepresented the experience. The camp is very expensive and not worth the money at all! Northwestern should be ashamed to be represented by such a camp!

We felt very uncomfortable dropping our son off. There was no proper introduction, no mention of needing to sign a permission slip regarding being able to add the shooting feature to the game he was developing. Thank goodness he had his cell phone, he was able to text us to complain. Otherwise we would not have known any of this until the time of pick up.
The cost of this camp is $1200.00 I would say it is worth 500.00 TOPS! Thought this would be the highlight of his summer. NOT! Don't waste your money, purchase the program to build these games on line for $49.99! Software is called fps creator!
