Gold's Gym of Santa Maria terminated my employment, did not pay me last paycheck on time, did not pay full amount owed to me.
I took the employer to court, and proved to Judge Paul Rodriguez that General Manager Mike Loos lied about monies owed to me, and I have court documents to prove it. Gold's Gym accounts manager Suzanne Cuevas sat next to Mike and said very little. I was the plaintiff. Gold's Gym the defendant.
I was owed about $300 in missing commissions from my last paycheck. I presented to the judge a list of names of people I sold memberships to before my employment ended.
The judge penalized Gold's Gym of Santa Maria and increased the monies owed to me. John Mahli of Gold's Gym now owes me a total of $1710.00 (USD). As of Dec 10, I have still not received payment.
I also know of two other former employees, one a personal trainer and one a front desk employee, who were disgruntled with the process in which they left the gym. The personal trainer told me on the phone that Gold's Gym of Santa Maria still owed him $1,000.
I petition all residents of Santa Maria to voluntarily end any membership they may have with Gold's Gym of Santa Maria, and tell the sales team, the front desk, the management, and the owner that they read this report.
I hereby attest that the above infomation is true and factual.
