I just got a mark on my credit report last month re: an ATT Wireless acct I had 5 years ago and I never received bills from them in the past 5 years and I cannot prove that I paid the bill. They are charging me $209 and I don't even think I owe it. How do I find out if it's valid or not? I don't have records from that far back, why would I keep them if I paid it in full? Any suggestions on what I should to to resolve this? How do I know if this is valid? I see so many usacomplaints.com stating Pallisades and Att Wireless are doing so many fraudulent bills? I don't trust it.
