I am extremely disappointed & frustrated with Aldo's product quality and customer service.
I purchased a fabric backpack on 3/18 at an Aldo store for $48.99. When I was making the purchase, I enquired about the durability of the backpack and was assured by the salesperson that it was sturdy and lasting. I was told that Aldo products were known for their quality and to bring it back any time I had a problem. Within 6 months of use, the bag ripped and the the fabric is tearing at the seams on the flap. I took it back to the store yesterday and the sales person refused to do anything about it. I asked to speak to the manager and he also said that the bag was not supposed to last this long. The sales woman said that that the bag was not meant for every day use & Aldo does not guarantee any quality. She said that they would not offer me an refund or an exchange. I am very disappointed with both the quality of the Aldo product as well as the service at the store. I am surprised that your store does not value their customers. I have never had a problem with a backpack before in fact before this one the other one I had was 5 or 6 years old. I haven't had a back pack rip within 6 months of use. I thought that I was buying a sturdy pack pack from your store and it wasn't a cheapo one & that it would at least last a school year. I was also assured of it at the time of purchasing. I wrote to the Aldo customer services but did not get any response.

Hope Aldo Shoes takes appropriate action.
