Ripoff misrepresentation terrible service incapable equipment refused cancellation

I ordered Lingo, a broad band internet service, in August and they sent three boxes for my business at 39.95 each plus 9.95 S&H. They guarantee that you can keep your current phone numbers with no interruptions as long as you keep your current service active and they claim it will take 15 to 20 business days for them to port the number. My business was moving and my numbers were important. My current provider could not port the numbers and could not offer any forwarding services so I ordered the Lingo service in enough time to where there would be no interruptions or, if any, just a few days.

When I received the boxes none of the three worked after 2 hours of technical service on my mobile phone we got 1 box to work, however, it would not receive faxes and dropped 9 out of 10 calls. I was suppose to receive a call from their "tier 2" managment in order for them to give me "permission" to switch out the boxes (that I paid for mind you!) After 1 week with no response I called in to check on the status only to have to go through another 1 hour session with another tech and my mobile phone cuts out and no one calls back! I had to start over 4 different times and spent over 5 additional hours on my mobile phone with still no answers or different answers every time! Finally someone tells me to send them back (at my expense) and gives me an addres in Virginia.

After the 20 business days no one could tell me when my numbers would be ported, they would simply say that they had an overwhelming response to their service and they're backed up and they have had a change in management and couldn't guarantee anything that the previous customer representatives had said. At this point, my business has gone without phone service for 2 weeks, a receptionist just sitting.

After 26 phone calls to customer service, 11 hours on my mobile, 4 managers going to call me back, and (7) "in 3 days" guarantees - no one could tell me when my numbers would be working however, at this point even if they did work, I never received any new boxes so my phones wouldn't work anyway. I was told "they couldn't find them" and that I wasn't suppose to just send them back, apparently another division has to approve it - however their employee instructed me to do so.

2 months later, October 8th, still no phone service, no boxes, have lost tons of business, paying 250/per month for my current service to stay active in space, paying employees to sit, already paid 150 for Lingo boxes and shipping so, I decide to cancel. It took 2.5 hours on the mobile phone with a customer representative located in India to cancel my service - I had to argue and insist it be cancelled as he wanted me to be transfered to technical service and then charged me 39.95 per line (3) to cancel because they couldn't find the boxes I sent back to them. I asked if this would cancel the porting of my numbers and he said if I cancel it cancels everything.

Finally, I think they're out of my life and transfer my services to another company that has been awesome, however, low and behold today my phones stop working and I receive emails from Lingo saying congratulations your phone numbers have been ported! My phones still don't work and no one at Lingo knows what's going on.

I've lost tons of money because of them and they are still not out of my life! Buyer BEWARE!
