Judgment done with expired summons

I was served a notice in August stating i had 20 day from the date to request a hearing.

The notice had a date of 3/16 which tells me my 20 days are up. I then receive a garnishment from my job and the court papers filed without hearing also stating i received a copy on 9/18.

Which I only received a copy of it when the garnishment came in. I've faxed the forms to them but have not heard back
