After more than 350 transactions as a buyer on Etsy, I ran into the wrong seller and had to file a dispute, requesting a refund as the desired resolution.in the process, I discovered that Etsy Trust and Safety does nothing to help the buyer when trouble arises with their sellers. The seller began harassing me with e-mails (outside of the on-record Etsy communication system) and even announced she was going to be coming to my city and could deliver the (unwanted) item "in person". Downright scary. I closed the dispute case without resolution (that was the total extent of Etsy T&S advice), and now I have to cross my fingers that I get my refund through PayPal. I have closed my Etsy account.
