Totsy can be the best website for parents out there but they just need to clean up their customer service. I had been ordering a few times already with the only complaint being that it took forever to get your stuff. I'm talking months. That aside, this last episode really has me looking elsewhere for product.
Totsy relies on timing and limited avaialability to let their vendors offer lower prices for a set amount of time. They always give you countdowns to save on last minute sales. Well, if you're going to put customers on the clock, I would think you would have a better customer service department avaialble to address technical issues with their servers right away. Either that or allow the items that were to be bought at the sales price to be honored since it's their fault that the servers are not working or whatever the case is.
I was trying to buy something and the payment part of the transaction kept failing with the same error. I tried it on THREE different computers and THREE different ISPs (TWC, VZW 4G, VZW 3G) and THREE different Credit Cards. Same error everytime. I know this type of server issues happen. That's life. I called and wrote to them telling them the situation and left messages stating that I still would like to buy the items I wanted if it was possible.
THREE weeks later, I finally get a response back and they said to make sure your Credit Card information was put in correctly. That's it. THREE weeks to hear that. I had long given up on those items but to hear that type of response after that long is just ridiculous. There are a few sites that do the same type of business so I will look elsewhere unless I get a better response from them.
