I left Ebay after a long time being there, then closed my account, for a long time. Then restarted it again, only to find that starting up was was full of pranks.
Then when my Christmas gift Visa card did not work right, trying to buy the first thing to buy, I skipped it. Then later I bought a cheaper one, and a few other things, yet it always tried to put that first one on the list. After skipping it twice, it refused to let me buy anything else.
It wrote:
Alert! Your account has exceeded eBays limit for unpaid items. As a result, your buying privileges have been restricted.
Youre still able to pay for items youve won in an auction-style listing or purchased through Buy It Now. And if you already placed a bid on an item and win it later, you can pay for it. You can also still sell.
