My current Verizon Bill shows charges billed by One Call Comm for 142.77 and by Telliss for 135.32 all of which are a result of modem fraud. This is the second time in 6 month this has happened to me. After having multiple numbers blocked this still occurs and per customer service agents I have spoken with I am told this is a program that embeds itself into your drive and accesses these numbers directly without you ever knowing.
After spending nearly 2 hours on the phone I finally got a number that worked for One Call Comm who accreditted the charges however I am still attempting to fight Telliss, who are extremely rude individuals and have phone numbers that are disconnected and was told they will not take disputes over the telephone. THIS MUST STOP!!! Does anyone know what can be done?
