I was a victim of Dovrcheli's Scam too! I sent photos in and they called 4 months later. I went to NY for an appointment. I spoke with MARC. He said he was the head scout, I had an interesting look, and he wanted to represent me. Of course, he HATED my pictures, but they were quite bad, so I agreed to have new photos taken. He told me that it would cost $800 for the shoot, with several looks, and I would get a Dovrcheli book and comp card. He said they would get "beautiful clothes and jewelry for me". And Marc also said the agency would pay for 1/2 of the cost. Later he denied that the agency would pay for 1/2.
Wanting to get my foot in the door, i went ahead and paid $800. When I got to the shoot the clothes looked like crap, and I ended up wearing all of my OWN clothes and jewelry. Later MARC also denied that my book was included, and tried to charge me $70 for the book. I did not give him another dime. He called me all the time before i paid him.
Afterwards, i barely heard from him. The last we spoke he said he was going to Brazil to look for some "young girls". Oh, and he worked with a sleazy photographer named Ben who was totally unprofessional and trying to kiss on me.
