Do NOT sign any contract with Verizon Wireless—in fact, run from them fast and far. I've had 5 telephone lines with them for 5 years. Three years ago, I let one go dormant, intending to terminate it when the 2 year contract expired. Because I entered into a contract on one of the other phone lines, they changed the contract dates on all the lines. I am now using one and paying for 3. I just terminated a line and moved it to AT & T—for which they penalized me with a $75 fee.
These people are absolute crooks. Run from Verizon Wireless! I will never do business with them again. Just cancelled my Verizon Fios cable and home phone lines. Went to DirecTV. Will never spend money with them again.
