Kohls made an error with my payment

I went into kohls on 4/13 to pay my bill with a check of $479.00. The cashier only keyed a payment of $4.79 in error. I didn't look at my receipt and didn't realize the error until 4/16 when I reviewed my checking account. I called and the rep over the phone suggested I do a check by phone for the difference, I did. On 4/25 kohls cleared my original check of $479.00 putting my checking account in the negative and causing a $25 overdraft fee. I called and kohls assured me if I fax a copy of my cancelled check they would correct the situation and refund my overdraft fee, this process would take 24 to 48 hours-I am still waiting for both of these remits to happen! I have 3 pages of notes with times and dates of my I interactions with kohls reps by phone, in person at the store, or via email. They have now added finance charges to my account-I am furious! It is not my problem to wait for them to research what they did with my $479.00 check, I have provided them several times with the copy of my check w/my account number on the front and the back of the check w/kohls stamps and account info on the back, clearly proof they took my money. It would only make sense to me they credit my account for the full amount of my check, my $25 overdraft fee, and effective date theses transactions back to 4/13 when I made my payment. I shouldn't't have to wait for them to figure out what they did with my payment. As the consumer I have put in more time and energy than any rep has for me.
