Email containing mutual contacts from 8/5 speed-dating function was never received (Supposed to have been provided within 24 hours). Numerous emails (to two different contacts within the Powerdates group) requesting said email, as well as three phone messages, have gone unanswered for over three weeks.in addition, I contacted the event organizer from the affiliated hosting restaurant (Zelda @ Zigato's restaurant) in hopes that she might contact someone at Powerdates to rectify the matter. Once again, no reply. Phone greeting on Powerdate's message advertises an event which occured on June 25, and it is now August. This business smells of one which is running on auto-pilot. Services were not rendered as advertised, and my best efforts to rectify the matter in a polite and professional matter have come to naught. Additional points:
1. The event was postponed over two weeks, pushing it beyond Paypal's 30-day buyer protection plan.
2. I did receive some phone calls from my female "matches", so I know I didn't go "o-fer."
3.in all fairness, it was a fun evening. If Powerdates could be bothered to follow up on their emails or phone messages, they'd be a company I would recommend.
