Its been a few years for me, but I feel that I should tell my experience with this company.
A while back I got the bug to start a vending machine business. Easy money, right? So I slapped down about 13,500 for a bunch of these nifty little money makers. All the while hearing stories from the people I bought them from how RICH people were getting off the vending machine business. How they make money while they SLEEP and don't have a care in the world, blah blah blah. So after I got my machines that's when they gave me the name of Mr. Jay Baird of Advanced placement Services.
So I contacted him, at time he boasted how he was a member of the Better Business Bureau! Which he has since lost that status (check the BBB in Chicago and you'll see what I mean. It now says "Unsatisfactory.")
At any rate, I think the placement of my machines came to about 1500 altogether. To make a long story short, eventually just about all my machines got vandalized or stolen or in some cases got refused later by the real owners of the store they were in. Its true, there were a few times when the locator would talk to some employee who let them place the machine, but had no power to allow the machine in the store, and the owner refused it later
None of my locations were "quality locations" as he had promised, and my "professional locator" amounted to some bum who smoked constantly, wore nothing more then jeans and a flannel shirt, and the floor of his car was littered with cigarette butts. 6 of my machines got destroyed within the first 10 days. Jay was very uncooperative and refused to refund me in full for the many bad locations. He said he would only give me half of what I paid for them back? What the hell kind of service is that? I started losing 1 to 2 machines a week after that, quite a few due to the buildig it was in not wanting the machine in there.
Jay baird did re-locate 4 locations as an act of "good faith" he said, but one of those got refused and the three others got destroyed as well over the next 2 weeks.
Needless to say, I lost all my money I put into this, about 15000. If you're going to go into vending, don't make the stupid mistakes I did, be sure to throughly check out everyone before you do business with them in this venture.
