Unfair and Immediate Gas Utility shut-off

Dear Scana Energy Regulated,

I made my last payment March 16th and brought my balance to zero, and my service was disconnected April 17th. No payment reminder, no notice of imminent disconnect. Just one bill sent to me right before I left for military training with a payment due date of April 9th. My energy was disconnected under these premise while I am officially traveling for military training with a disabled child at home less than 9 days after my payment due date. MY account was locked and I could not make a payment over the internet because you have no option to unlock via email on file. Also, you have refused to move my payment and rate check dates up by a week so I can afford to make payments ON TIME. I already notified you and said I can't make payments on the 9th and that I do not get paid until the 15th. Now my wife is told that she has to wait before we can get our heat/hot water turned back on and can take days even with this notification from the pediatrician. The kids are sick and need to be washed. Thanks for affecting the quality of our lives and the health of our kids. IT really hurts that you portray your self as caring and helpful but I have been totally ripped off.
