I just wanted to put something out there to warn people about One Source Talent. I used to "scout" for TCT, until I learned they previously operated under another name, and also saw first hand their immoral business practices. TCT is now operating as One Source, presumably to evade their bad name, which they've done before. The changing names are easy to spot with their ads constantly on Monster.com for models, etc.
This company stoops to the lowest level; taking people with big dreams and low self-esteem and fooling them into thinking there is an easier way to break into showbusiness. I worked on Broadway and in television commercials and can assure you unless you audition your butt off and get yourself seen at casting calls which you can look up for free on the net or find in Backstage (trade paper), there is no other way to get in. One Source/TCT will charge you top dollar to put your name and face on their website, and even try to sucker you in for more $ for "professional" headshots and even talent competitions for "agent" exposure, but no ethically sound agent or professional needs to go through these hoops to find talent.
The talent is banging down their doors and probably, they are quite frankly turning people away - not looking for more on the net. I've spent 19 years working professionally as an actress/singer/dancer and I promise you that the first rule of thumb in the business is not to get involved with anyone who wants money UPFRONT. Audition, build a resume, try to find an agent (who legally takes a percentage of the earnings from the jobs she gets you), and if that sounds too hard you are in the wrong business! Stay away from TCT/Once Source and whatever it will turn into next!
