About 2-3 years ago, someone in my family had an outstanding balance not totaling more than $200. Cdn and some months ago paid it in full, just recently i made an online purchase and because we carried the same last name my purchase was charged to my card with my name on it for the full amount, when i got a order form printout that shows me my easy pay installment amounts, to my surprise today i checked my credit card statement which shocked me when i saw the full payment billed on the card without any notice from them stating that my options are not easy pay but full payment and allow me to decide if i want to continue with my purchase or cancel it. I am very upset about this and intend to get it resolved somehow, because they did not have the authority to do that without my permission.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
