The Lowe's store is offering to its customers a single window installation for a discount at 99.00 dollars. This offer is advertize by every window on display in the store. There is no asteric or any warnig about hidden fees or charges.
After I had the store professional measure a single window in my house he quoted me a price for the labor in excess of $250.00. When I asked him where is the $99.00 advertized offer, he replied that there is a charge for removing the old window and also that the 99.00 special is applied only when you have more windows installed at the same time.
The estimate was consisting of a single line, without any itemizing of aditional charges whatsoever. I consider this as a classic "bait and switch" sales technique and I am also very surprised that such a practice is employed by one of the largest home improvement chains in the nation.in my view it is clearly fraudulent, misleading and unlawfull to practice in the state of Texas!
