I was perusing the internet for a replacement pair of Steve Madden wedge sandals, and found the ones I was looking for at a site simply called 'Shoes and Bags'. I quickly ordered the shoes via PayPal but the URL name raised a red flag for me (HighQualty-Replica-LouisVuitton.com). There were no other customer reviews, and I couldn't find anything about this site from other sources.
Upon closer examination, I noticed that their privacy notice was written in broken English, and under a discreet 'News' tab was this disclaimer: 'This store is for demo purpose only. No order will be proceed' (I'm assuming they meant to write 'processed'). Luckily, I was able to figure this out within minutes, so I easily canceled the PayPal transaction before they could claim the money. Total scam site. The recipient of the PayPal payment is not registered
'Name: [email protected] (The recipient of this payment is Unregistered).' Maybe let '[email protected]' know that we're on to him!
