I did a search on some freight companies and off course Freight center was all over the NET and low ball so much that it was hard not to do business with them, what i forgot to do in the midst of being busy with my move was to check their credibility as the agents and the website looked and sounded very professional. The original amount agreed upon was for a shipment of 150 pounds for a total of $259.73 which was very affordable in regards to other shipping quotes... The company delivered my stuff 4 days late after the original date of delivery and NO one will pick up the phone and answer me why is it so late... Specially the agent who was my POC and then 3 weeks after that i got charged 386 more on top of 259 conveniently on a Friday night and when i checked my account on a Saturday morning which ruined my morning and had to spend the day calling around and finding what is going on, where i finally got in touch with someone at the freight company. After i addressed the issue and just stated that the charge is without any reason or approval where the Agent who also claimed to be the Manager and wont give me his name... Without having to look into my account stated "well we always have a reason to charge customers" that opening line was already enough for me to know that i am going to have a lot of run around and tough time getting anywhere and collect my money which is extremely taking from me by the company who is just well known for doing exactly the same. Please be very careful and i Hope this great nation of United States can stop them from doing this and the law some how will catch up to them and shut them down because this will not stop till that happens by this terrible company. Please if any Government official is reading this then please help us close this business or get them to face justice... Please.
