Was contacted by phone by Gold Crown Property Management to advertise my time share on there site to rent a week. I was not sure of them. I have been decieved in the past and was reluctant to sign up. I checked their site and called them back. They took my money over the phone for a fee of $272.00 for 18 months of services. I recieved a contract in the mail with signatures and a Certificate of Performance Guarantee, stating if client not contacted a minimum of 3 times with offers, inquiries, updates, or bids within 18 months I would recieve 75% of marketing fee.
I was contacted one time, by cell phone, when away on vaccation, of an offer but had to have paper work sent with 3 days. I was unable to, secondary I was away from home. I was not contacted any further. I did check web site for listing infromation of my resort and everything looked correct. I called several times to comapny to check on status of any offers and was nerver able to speak to someone nor did anyone call me back.
My 18 months of seervices was ending on 5/25/10 sent the contract and certificate for refund and it was returned with No Addressee Known. I called the company and the phone #'s are not in services. I went to the listing site and on the site was an advertisment for Mister Bids.
This was another company that was taking bids for my week, accepting offers, and then not contacting myself nor the client that wanted to rent. I checked the comments from the people that placed a bid for this vaccation week. They were upset that no one would get back to them about the week they won bidding for it. The comments were towards the owner of the week.in which is me and I had no information of this going on.
I went back to the site to follow the links to see if I could make things work for these people but the site now no longer exsisit. I am very sorry to anyone who may have been deiceived by this company.
