I contracted with this company to provide telephone answering services. Turns out, they were not actually the answering service. They marked up the rate and subcontracted it to an actual answering service who provided the service.
They never disclosed this in their contract or discussion. Find an actual answering service at a much lower rate than what they want to charge.
When they transfer a call from one of your customers to you or your staff, they keep billing you at the full rate when they are no longer on the line. That is not disclosed in their contract or literature. A huge rip off given that they are doing virtually nothing and billing at the full rate.
They claim this is "tying up their line" in an attempt to justify their billing. I find it doubtful they are actually incurring any actual cost after they hang up the line.
They ripped me off for over $5,000.
This is actually a marketing entity only with deceptive billing practices.
