I completed two BPOs for mainstreet last year. One was in early October and one in mid-November. I still have not been paid for them. (1/23) I contacted the company in late November to request information on payment. "Wendy" emailed back to let me know that payment for the first BPO would be processed on 1/2, but no word on the other report. When I emailed back to ask why there was such a delay in payment, contradictory to payment terms described on their website, I got no response. I also have not received the payment.
One of the reports I did was returned from QC because I had forgotten to include a picture. I corrected the problem and thr report was accepted, but I was bothered that my Quality Control email came from an email address of "someone"@yahoo.com instead of the @mainstreetval.com address I would expect from a professional organization.
It makes me think that this company is probably being run out of someone's basement and I probably won't ever be paid for the reports because my fee was probably applied to someone's Christmas bills.
