This company is no less then a sweat shop. VXI global solutions employees are treated like crap. This company is contracted by Directv. As a former employee I think the nation should know about this call center.
This call center requires their employees to have a 40% coversion just to make $5.00 a sale; it might sound easy, but when 50% of the calls coming in are existing customers that already have service, and just want to pay a bill or just want to order a movie its nearly impossible. Their pay scale is unobtainable and then to make matters worse even if you have 50 sales if you didnt sell 40% you dont get paid for your sales. WHAT?
They also rip off their employees by requiring them to work all 40 Hours per week to get paid commision even if there is an emergency. My child was sick I had to miss 1 day of work to take him to the Doctor. They keep all my commission because i didnt have my 40 hours even with a doctors note.
They required us to work Monday, the day after New years day and said we would get paid time and a half, but lied and only paid us our 10.00 per hour, they only recognize 2 holidays a year.
Thanksgiving, Christmas. I hope Directv doesnt condone this type of employee abuse.
When i tried to complain to the manager of the call center i was demoralized and told that "the door is huge you can leave anytime if you dont like it." Im glad i no longer work for this company and beware anyone who is considering working for them they truly treat their employees like dirt and rip you off for the commission that directv pays them $170.00 per sale.
