Missing parts lack of customer service Internet

My daughter received a smart trike bicycle for her 1st christmas from my sister in-law. I followed the instructions and the instructions indicated all the parts were included. Half way through the directions, it said to remove a bolt from the frame, use that bolt to attach the seat and harness. There was no bolt anywhere on the frame, box, or bags. I called the 800 number on the instructions only to find out the number was disconnected. Next, I checked the website and clicked on the contact button. This redirects you to a page with blank fields which generates an email that gets sent to [email protected]. With no phone calls, or email responses, I found the company had a facebook page. On their wall, was half of a dozen complaints of wheels falling off their products, and parts missing. Only response from the owner of the page saying to email them at [email protected]. People responded to their reponses saying they have. Sounds like a dangerous product, and I might have my sister in-law return it.
