Hello My name is Egypt. I am a fashion Model. I had resereved a photo shoot with Tim Grant of After dark Photography out of NYC. This guy told me that he needed me to put down a deposit to hold a time slot for me to shoot with him. He claimed that he could walk into any showroom and get me fashion clothes for the shoot. I western unioned $300 to a East Orange New Jersey address to take care of the shoot. Upon my arrival to New York and I am from Chicago, He cancelled our appointment because he said his flight from L.A. Was grounded. I notified him weeks in advance that I would only be staying a week in NYC. So the next day came and he cancelled again claiming he had to meet with some top designers. Then the next he would not answer his phone. Nor would he retiurn me my money. I told my friend and other photographer who I wanted to use the money for (Israel) that Mr. Grant would not give me my money back. I wasted a trip to NYC. Ladies never fall for this kind of scam. I now have a mistrust with some photographers. He totally ripped me off.
