I prepaid by Visa for a two subscription with them for "Star" magazine. Which of course I had to pay right away. My two year subscription which was very expensive but still a better deal than buying from a store has now been cancelled.
When they first contacted me by phone they claimed to be with "Star" mag., they did not say anything about being a seperate individual company and never mentioned their name "Media Outsourcing". I stopped receiving my magazines at the end of March and my sub. Was supposed to be good thru March. I called Star and they are the ones who informed me of having my subscription cancelled from Media Outsourcing.
So after I called Star they gave me the other companies #, the first time I called, they had a recording on the phone saying that they accidentally cancelled all the subscriptions and would try and correct the problem ASAP. RIGHT! (They listed at least 4 diff. Magazines this happened to.) After that first call, I have been trying to call again for a month and the line was always busy no matter what time of day or night I called. Then just yesterday I tried again and the phone has now been disconnected. I am so pissed... And have probably lost about $100. From these people.
