All Build My Move did was hire a cheap local mover. We later learned the driver of the moving van did not have a Commercial Driver's license as is stated on the Build My Move website. The driver did not even have a valid state driver's license. Within a few miles of our old house, the driver ROLLED the moving truck and received a reckless driving ticket. It was a single vehicle accident and both the driver and the other worker were taken to the hospital. The accident report reads the driver did not have his eyes on the road. How could Build My Move have been so negligent in hiring this company?
Build My Move states they "require" their movers to shrink wrap all your furniture. None of it was wrapped and when the truck crashed, most of our furniture was damaged. Several of our possessions were missing when the movers finally showed up 2 days later in a different, old moving van.
