My mother, children, and I stopped into the Dollar Tree on SE 14th in Des Moines Iowa tonight. I let my two year old have a toy that made noise. I thought this was better than having him picking up everything in the store and making a mess. Two employees commented very rudely in front of everyone how annoying that child was with the toy. One lady said"What, I can't hear you through that annoying toy!" The only employee, who obviously heard her, returnd, " Yea, and that one thinks its really funny!" That one, meant my mother that was smiling. My son is a little boy, they make noise. It would be nice if some people practiced manners and could politely ask me to shut the toy off. I will never return to that store, and will encourage others not to shop there as well.
