I was looking to purchase a dog for my daughter last Christmas. I wanted a smart, well behaved dog. I started doing some on-line research and was sold on a "family protection dog". It sounded perfect, exactly what i was looking for. This particular company (guy) seemed to have an impressive clientele history. My wife and i went to meet him and look at a particular dog that he thought would suit our family, Rex.
Upon arriving to his house he instructed us to stay in our car and watch him work with Rex. Rex seemed impressive, he obeyed all commands, wasn't to hyper nor aggressive... He then allowed us out of our car and introduced us to Rex. He told us that we needed to come to "visit" Rex 3x a week over the next 2 weeks so that the transition wouldn't be bad on the dog. At this time we handled Rex (with the trainer present) Towards the end of the 2 weeks Rick (the owner/Operator of K9 Enforcement) told us that Rex was going to need a shock collar.
