Starting with Stacee Dill with Prety Maids AKA Deja Vu Upscale Resale responding to my ad at Craigslist.com for my 7 boxes of clothes for sale - stating that I would make a lot more money to give it to her consignment store (that was back around Feb 17). I hesistate to drive all the way to Ventura and she offered to meet me in Thousand Oaks mall instead, she responded very quickly to all my e-mails and phone calls.
She picked up clothes and took 216 items (mixed of designer clothes, regular clothes and some accessories). She then give me a contract stating how many items I have with her, dates the contract end, and I'll have 5 days to pick them up after the contract end.
I sent her and e-mail stating that I haven't received the list and she told me that I'll be receiving a list of the item around March 1st.
Between the time, I received an e-mail from her that over 50 of my items are damage and she couldn't sell that at her store. She asked me if I'd donate them. I asked for receipt for donation (for tax purposes) and she told me that "It's not worth it" - so that's that - I only have 156 Item left with her.
On April 16/17 I called her cell and office and asking where's the list. I still haven't received anything from her - that was a weekend. She pick Monday 4/19 to responded to my e-mail and stated that the reason I haven't got anything from her because my contract just ended on the 17. And I should be getting the check that Wednesday.
When I asked for the list on what I have left, she asked me to call the office and she'll give them to me. I called the office many many times and all I'm getting is the fax machine. She claimed that someone try to break in to her store and she wasn't able to get in to the office. Then I only have till this wednesday to get my left over clothes (between 10-5). I try to get some extention so I could go ahead and pick up my clothes on the weekend, thought it was her fault to get back to me on Monday and only give me 10-5 on working day. Till the end of the week I still have no list or what so ever from her. Come Saturday, I received her check for all of the stuff for $ 53.10 for all my clothes (she sold 28 items). She claimed that her printer broken and can't print out the list.
This is the most ridiculous business spam that I ever encounter. I'd like to donate that $ 53.10 dollar to Children foundation (I'd give it all to them in the first place). Just hate it so much when I try to do something nice and get rip off on the daylight.
I'm so confuse and angry on what to do with this girl. She has millions of reason and just can't deal with that kind of person. I really hope you could help me on this.
