I ordered a Snake Basket as part of their 50% off Sale on September 14th. The website clearly stated the item was in stock and ready to ship. I wired them the money and was told they received it and the item would be shipped. I asked them to send me a tracking number for the shipment. I was then sent an email stating that they did not have it in stock and it would take two weeks. I asked for a refund and no reponse. I finally asked if they could guarantee me shipping by 10/1 and was told yes they would. I never received any tracking info. I have emailed them everyday and called and left messages and no response.
I have been researching various forums and this seems to be a pattern of Snap Illusions and Mr. Moyer. I wouldn't be so upset if there would be some communication, but simply ignoring your customers emails is poor customer service especially after you have promised a delivery date.
I have talked with an attorney and am considering a civil suit as well as filing a criminal complaint for internet fraud and theft.
If anyone else is interested in a possible class action suit, or if anyone else knows of one already in motion, please let me know.
This type of business practice and company is a bad thing for the magic community as a whole.
