We hired Michael Fitsimmons of Circa Construction to complete a 2 story renovation/expansion to our residence, 59 Concord Avenue, Oceanside. The project began in September and ran pretty smoothly in the beginning. We were well aware of the job that we were taking on and that we would be inconvenienced. Demolition started on the house and our hot water and boiler were disconnected. The first problem came when we were left with no hot water and heat for roughly 6 weeks. Circa Construction was well aware that we would be living in the house and that we had 2 small children. When we questioned when it would be done, he would tell us that he was trying to get a hold of his plumber. His plumber, Belmonte Plumbing of Bethpage, was very unprofessional and did not seem to care that our family was living under these conditions. When he finally did show up, he was complaining that we purchased our new oil burner elsewhere and that Circa Construction owed him money.
