Metropolitan Placement Services - Allied Marketing
Total rip-off Scam, Extremely Poor Service, Pitiful Locator Service, Absolutely No Customer Service, Complete Lies, Like Stealing Money form You ripoff

My experience with this locator service company was completely unprofessional and depressing.

I will provide specifics so that future consumers understand exactly what happened to me.

1. After signing the agreement for service and making an initial (substantial) payment, they inform you that a locator will be out to see you "a week after" your product arrives.in fact, it was four months for them to get someone to come and provide agreed upon service to me.in phone calls made by me, they always had one excuse or another.in fact, for about 10 weeks, I was told that I was their top priorty. Often they don not return your calls. It is extremely frustrating trying to communicate with this company and you have no control of what they do. Customer service is non-exitent.

2. When my locator, Dennis Burdick, did arrive he was immediatley a disappointment. Explained that he would be using a different "placement agreement" than the one I was provided with by the company. The terms were totatly different, but he describes it as a "marketing strategy". It is called "Free-Fill", at least for my product, gourmet coffee, and it is very costly to you. Without my knowledge and consent, the locator made arrangements with retail locations promising them 100% full profit ($247.00) from the proceeds of the first stock of inventory.in my case, this meant that each location he secured cost me $247.00/each on top of my investment for the locator service. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of this until he left town. When I set up my intial displays at the locations, I was shocked to find out what he had done.

3. Afterwards, in my communications with Metropolitan, there was no empathy or resolution that was offered by this placement company. No refunds/no mediation/no assistance what-so-ever. They didn't care, they acted as if they didn't understand where I was coming from. They essentially put the blame back on me for signing off on the locations I accepted. Even though this "fre-fill" strategy was used to gain accounts, it is confusing and misrepresented by this company. They promise others your profit without your knowledge.

4. I recommend that this company be legally investigated and evaporated. They are not capable of providing any qualified service. The individuals I worked with are complete SCAM-ARTISTS!
