I recently purchased a Genesis Onyx 29er Cruiser bicycle (manufactured by Kent International) through Walmart.com with the free "site to store" shipping. When I assembled the bicycle I found several broken pieces and a bent wheel. I contacted the manufacturer (Kent International) and asked if I could get a replacement wheel. Their reply was that they do not carry replacement parts and that I should return the bicycle to Walmart. My issue is that the bicycle has a 1 year full warranty and lifetime warranty on the frame. How is Kent able to provide warranty support on a product when they don't carry parts to repair them? I asked them this question and so far have refused to answer. If my only recourse is to return the bicycle to Walmart, that will no longer be an option after 90 days. Since this product is only sold at Walmart stores, Walmart needs to ensure that suppliers are able to support the warrantees they claim to provide.
