I received a letter, dated January 22 of this year, saying the same thing the mother who posted usacomplaints.com about her son's poetry said; that they had read my poem and wished to publish it in their volume, "Colours of the Heart". I did NOT wish to buy the book, but I DID order a wooden plaque with my poem engraved on it.
This company charged my credit card on Feb. 23rd for $67.95 for a plaque that I have not only yet to receive, but I cannot contact the company to try and find out what the status of my order is. I attempted to call the phone # that appears with the charge on my credit card. All I reached is a recording that gives an email address, which I can't get to work b/c not sure of the spelling, or tells you to write to their New York Office.
I fully intend to send a letter to their New York office, demanding to know what the status of my order is and, if they have no record of it, to refund my money.
I would advise ANYONE who receives anything similar to be very careful about giving them any money. If they want to publish your poem in their book for free, which they do, that's all well and good. But DON'T order anything!!!
