Apex Systems Inc - misrepresenting positions / manipiulating resumes

I got a requirement for a very well known Banking Client in the East Bay area. I worked in that area for at least 8 years and knew that job very well. The recruiter called me - eagerly asking me my resume. I complied and send it. She even had me specially format it for her so it looks a specific way her client wanted. No probs - did it all.

Following week - got an email - the position is on hold. Something smelled fishy. Another recruiter from the same company emailed me the position details and confirmed it is open.

I then got the news that my resume was NOT SUBIMITTED FOR THAT POSITION. SOMEONE ELSE WAS BEING 'PROMOTED' at the expense of my resume. If I piece up 2 and 2 together - this is what that woman recruiter did - took my resume - had all the contents of it presented in the certain manner and then took the contents of my resume and PASTED THEM to someone else's resume. She 'promoted' her/him - that other candidate - because this person was willing to work for a lot lower rate than me and she thought he'd pull through. I make this conclusion because the 2nd recruiter actually CONFIRMED that my resume had NOT been submitted at all. They gave me some other flimsy exuse as to why it was not submitted but I knew immediately what they did.

I wonder how I can prove this story in court and sue Apex. I second the opinion presented here by James

These women who run apex are no good HR crap who know squat about the concerned technology, keep FUDGING people's resumes and act as a 'political gatekeeper' to the client instead of being a professional vendor.

As a follow up - almost a Month later - recruiter # 3 working from some other location contacted me back for the same position. So the 'junk' person that the NC recruiter promoted was'nt working out after all..!!! And 2 weeks later recruiter # 4 working from yet another location came back with the same requirement.

If you pay peanuts... All you get is monkeys!!!

I need some help about how I could go about getting hold of this resume manipulation that was happening and proving this
