I've bought a Nokia with a $100 rebate in October. I sent in my original reciept, my original rebate form and a copy of the ESN on the box. And I waited, and I waited and I waited. The last part of Feb. I called Cricket customer service about the rebate and was given a different number to a insurance (?) company that handles the rebates and was told that it was never recieved, and that I needed to mail the ORIGINALS again. When I tried to explain that they had already been sent, and I could not send them again, the reply was "... Bummer."
I went to the office on Lee Hwy in Chattanooga TN and they we're very kind, producing a copy (printed the display on the screen, not an original) reciept, payment history, purchase date, etc. While in line I found out that the delays and non-payments were so wide spread as to be ridiculous.
So here we are, screwed by an insurance company again.
OR ARE WE?
It takes three complaints to file a class action law suit. Please respond to [email protected] if you are interested in giving a little back to the rich rip-off artists that are thinking, hmmm we just keep screwing the little guys... They won't do a thing...
Please do not put an attachment in your response or I won't open it.
It's time to stand up as a group and say with one loud voice, "ENOUGH! Now it's your turn!"
