Etrix Work at Home Scam

This Guy is using the legitimate company Etrix located in Dublin, Ireland to scam ones who want to work from home. It is advertised as Accounting/Clerical min of 32hrs/week. His scam works like this:

He only communicates via instant messenger or email. (he prefers instant messenger). He gives you this fake website address which is conveniently "under construction". The real Etrix website is www.etrix.com. The fake one is www.etrix.co.uk. He offers to set up a "test of trust" by offering to send out money so that the person on the other end can purchase the required "office equipment" from their personal "vendor".

I thought right away that this sounded like a scam so I contacted my local authorities who informed me that with scams like this: once you cash a check, the funds will not be available on the other end. So then whoever cashed the check will then have the money taken out of their account due to the other person's NSF. The check amounts are usually in the $2,000-3,000 range. And because they ask for an Employment agreement to be signed and are overseas it is hard to track and recover the money. Their "vendor" is really one in the same person and by the end of the week they have cleaned you out of $2-3k out of your checkbook.

Please be careful and scrutinize work from home opportunities. The bad part about this person is that there is no way to research them and no reports have been filed so they seemed squeaky clean! Reports have been filed with the bureaus!
