US Couriers was bought out by Time Line Logistics out of Houston several months ago and it has been h*l ever since. Time Line Logistics and its owner, Emilio Castillo have been cheating, underpaying drivers, issuing checks that bounce and that are no good, to even not paying the drivers at all for several days after payday. They changed the the payday schedule and issued pay schedules that only included seven days and extended the days between paychecks by three more days. I also think that they cheated the drivers out of several days of work by changing the payday schedule. However, we can not be sure as they do not run reports for the drivers anymore nor do we get reports with our checks. It is now very easy for Time Line to "cheat" its drivers. Even when those paydays come, the drivers checks are late, sometimes getting them two or three days late, only to find that the checks are no good and have bounced. Banks put stop payments to the checks for insufficient funds. Currently, my check has still not been cleared and I have gotten no response from the payroll department. Several drivers have also received checks that did not clear. We are now one week overdue getting paid... And getting paid with checks that don't clear is not getting paid! This should be an unacceptable situation! Though, Emilio Castillo has not been heard from since the first few days when he came down to talk to everyone in the San Antonio office, to say that he will take care of everything. We just didn't think that by taking care of things, he meant he would not pay his employees.
